Herbicide free treatment of Aquatic Invasive Species

The City of Sandpoint is seeking a proposal to control/eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species in Windbag Marina, City Beach and Memorial launch.   City Council requires that the treatment methods applied are non-herbicide based.  Aquatic Eurasian Milfoil and Flowering Rush are the primary Invasive Species to be treated at this time.  The project purpose is to meet requirements of Idaho Statute 22-2407, maintain the recreational value of the waterway and to maintain a safe environment for water users. This will be a 3 year contract pending annual budget approval.  View the full RFP
