How to Pay Your Utility Bill:                        Click Here to Pay Online

In Person:

You may pay your bill in person at City Hall located at 1123 Lake Street in Sandpoint. City Hall is open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. 

Drop Box:

You may also use our payment drop box at City Hall. Please include your account number or service address on your check. The drop box is located on the west side of S. Ella Ave. in between the main parking lot entrance and the fire department entrance. Payments must be placed in the drop box prior to 8:00 a.m. Monday thru Friday in ensure same day posting. Delinquent payments should be brought inside.

Auto Draft:

The City provides an auto-draft service for your convenience. You will continue to receive a bill via email or paper form but the amount will be automatically deducted from your bank account on the 15th of each month. To sign up for this service the City will need the following:

  • Auto-draft Form
  • Voided check
  • Please note this service will need to go thru a pre-note process first and may take up to 6 weeks to process.

By Phone:

You may call 1-855-819-0769 to pay by debit or credit card 24 hours a day thru our third party administrator.

  • A 3% service charge ($2.00 minimum) will be added to all transactions.
  • You will need to have your 12 digit utility account number.
  • Payments are not immediately posted to accounts. If you are paying on a delinquent account, you will need to contact the utilities office to notify us of your payment.

Online:

You may set up your utility account online and/or make a one-time payment by debit or credit card 24 hours a day thru our third party administrator.

  • A 3% service charge ($2.00 minimum) will be added to all transactions.
  • You will need to have your 12 digit utility account number (entered with the dash and the dot)
  • You will need the first 4 characters of the name on your account (exactly as it shows on your billing, which is usually the first 4 of your first name).
  • Payments are not immediately posted to accounts. If you are paying on a delinquent account, you will need to contact the utilities office to notify us of your payment.
